Masters Madrid Promo Film

With the help of STATE Design, the VCT team at Riot Games created the inaugural event promo film to kick off the Masters Madrid 2024 campaign. Shot in what we liked to call Dallas, Madrid β€” this was one of the first mixed media event trailers created in the new age of the VCT, which also presented a brand new challenge of representing 4 global regions in the live action sequences via language and talent. Stills from the film were used in the campaign asset kit and broadcast package across the entire campaign.

Masters Madrid Opening Tease

It’s Opening Day at VALORANT Masters Madrid, with each region ready to show the world how they do things A Nuestra Manera (Our Way)!

Shot over 2 days in the chilly Spanish mountains with an all-nighter edit from our Producer Partner Good Boy, our creative took a different approach to the opening tease as to showcase a battle of regions, tying together with the distinct embodiment of the international league identities as a part of the greater campaign.

Masters Madrid Format Explainer

The VCT team partnered with LAG Studios in Madrid to film live action sequences with former Pro Player and influencer Mixwell to mix into the Madrid Format Explainer. With a blend of gameplay, live action, 3D animation, and motion graphics, this new approach was refreshing and brought a flavor of the local region the event was taking place in.
